The Haut-Medoc is the Southern half of the strip north of Bordeaux on the Left bank of the Gironde Estuary. It contains within its borders the six Appellations: Margaux, Moulis, Listrac, Saint-Julien, Pauillac and Saint-Estephe. It is also the home of the Cru Bourgeois wines. The range of styles is quite diverse, but the predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wines characteristic blackcurrant fruit and firm texture – £19.00

All estate-bottled Chateauneuf-du-Pape are sold in a bottle with St Peter¹s crossed keys, embossed on the shoulder. Some of the vines are 50 to 80 years old contributing complexity and richness to the wines which are aged in oak vats before bottling – £20.00
