It can be a difficult time when planning to remember the life of someone close to you. At Boxmoor Lodge our considerate and compassionate staff have the experience required to ensure they prepare a suitable and dignified environment to which your family and friends can be invited.
Boxmoor Lodge can cater for 20 to 150 guests in our Conservatory Restaurant or Boxmoor Lodge Marquee. This offers total flexibility in terms of both the numbers and the style of funeral reception you may be looking for. We can provide funeral high teas, finger buffets, hot or cold fork buffets or a more substantial luncheon or dinner in our highly regarded Conservatory Restaurant.
The Boxmoor Lodge Conservatory Restaurant can cater for 20 to 40 guests, the Boxmoor Lodge marquee 40 to 150 guests for a funeral reception. The marquee is available for a funeral service for a fee of £250 hire plus a minimum of 40 guests to be catered for or £500 for marquee hire only.
Boxmoor Lodge offers the provision of a tribute table where pictures, memorabilia and an in memoriam book can be displayed.
Floral tributes can be displayed at the hotel under our chestnut tree.
On arrival it is customary that guests are offered a welcoming drink of sherry, wine, champagne or an alternative non-alcoholic drink, these may be paid for by the host or a cash bar can be made available.
Shortly after the principle cortege arrive the food would be served.

Over the years we have built up a reputation as an ideal location for informal meetings and conferences, with the relaxed and friendly surroundings offering a great opportunity to build relationships away from the formal office environment.
Our conference facilities can be hired for weekday or weekend use with our two well-equipped meeting rooms that can accommodate 12 and 36 delegates respectively. These are perfect for board and strategy meetings, marketing reviews and executive team development sesssions.
Being separate from the rest of the hotel and restaurant, the exclusive use of the conference facilities at Boxmoor Lodge allows you freedom with confidentiality in a positive and productive atmosphere.
